Green Mountain Character Maple
 In the course of textile manufacture, steel rings from knitting machines fell to the maple floors and were ground into that wear surface over time. Today, the gleaming effects of these "travelers," embedded in maple, add special interest to borders on walls and floors and are particularly dramatic in ceilings.
