Widths

Random widths of 3", 4" and 5" are generally in stock and readily available.We can also mill smaller sizes to your specs such as 3/4 x 2-1/2" or 3/4 x 2-3/8" pine flooring, or any other single width dimension you require up to 11". |

Heart Content
|

Refers to the percentage of heartwood in the wood. Heartwood is what makes heart pine famous & ranges in color from deep reddish brown to a bright amber. |

Nail Holes & Knots

Their size and quantity have a bearing on the grade selection described. Additionally, it should be noted that heartpine knots are very hard and stable. |

Range in size from 2ft to 11ft and average from 5 - 7 feet. |

Milling Pattern

Is an exact center match so that either face of the board can be selected. |

End Matching
|

Rarely available in reclaimed flooring, it provides for ends to be accurately squared and milled with a tongue and groove and saves times and material during the installation process. Installers aren't required to look for and cut out defects or square each end. This extra step allows each board to be locked to the next which adds stability to the floor. |

Board Thickness

For Solid Wood Floors: Is a finished floor thickness after milling of 3/4" + .020 or .770. For Engineered Wood Floors: Is a finished floor thickness of 1/2" or 12 mm. |
